119 ακαδημαϊκοί εναντίον ΔΔΟ. Προειδοποιήσεις για Γενεύη

Εκατό δεκαεννέα ακαδημαϊκοί, καθηγητές, πανεπιστημιακοί και άλλες προσωπικότητες απ’ όλο τον κόσμο, με πρωτοβουλία του International Hellenic Association, εν όψει της Διάσκεψης της 28ης Ιουνίου στο Κρανς Μοντάνα της Γενεύης για το Κυπρακό, παρεμβαίνουν εναντίον της τεκταινόμενης λύσης Διζωνικής Δικοινοτικής Ομοσπονδίας, με επιστολή που απέστειλαν προς τον Γ.Γ. του ΟΗΕ Αντόνιο Γκουτέρες, τον Πρόεδρο της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής Ζαν Κλοντ Γιούνκερ, τον Πρόεδρο της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας Νίκο Αναστασιάδη, τους Υπουργούς Εξωτερικών Ελλάδος, ΗΠΑ, Βρετανίας, Γαλλίας, Ρωσίας, Κίνας κι επίσης προς όλες τις χώρες μέλη του ΟΗΕ, όλα τα κράτη μέλη της Ε.Ε. και όλα τα μέλη του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου.

Στην επιστολή (γραμμένη στα ελληνικά και τα αγγλικά), οι καθηγητές προειδοποιούν πως η Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία αλλά και η Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση βρίσκονται σε θανάσιμο κίνδυνο εξαιτίας της Διάσκεψης που θα διεξαχθεί «πίσω από κλειστές πόρτες», με τους λόγους να πηγάζουν, όπως αναφέρουν, από την «καταστροφική συλλογική συνθηκολόγηση με τις διχοτομικές απαιτήσεις της Τουρκίας».

«Η συνθηκολόγηση αρχικά ήταν έμπνευση του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. Όμως, σε μια προσπάθεια να κατευνάσουν την Τουρκία και με βάση τα δεδομένα της περιόδου του Ψυχρού Πολέμου που δεν ισχύουν σήμερα, διαδοχικές κυβερνήσεις των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών Αμερικής και ορισμένων Ευρωπαϊκών χωρών, καθώς και τα Ηνωμένα Έθνη, τελικά υποστήριξαν αυτή τη συνθηκολόγηση. Ενδίδοντας σε διπλωματικές εξωτερικές πιέσεις, οι κυβερνήσεις της Ελλάδας και της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας υποχώρησαν επίσης», αναφέρει η επιστολή, προσθέτοντας «Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν να διαμορφώσουν οι παράγοντες αυτοί τις πολιτικές τους, χωρίς καμία δίκαιη και επίσημη διαβούλευση με τη συμμετοχή αυτών που έπρεπε να ληφθούν πρώτιστα υπόψη – των πολιτών της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας».

Τα 5 αντιδημοκρατικά δόγματα

Μεταξύ άλλων, σημειώνεται πως ήδη από το 1964, διαδοχικές τουρκικές κυβερνήσεις ακολούθησαν μια αναβαθμισμένη νέο-ιμπεριαλιστική στρατηγική, η οποία αρχικά διατυπώθηκε το 1956. Αυτή η στρατηγική, όπως αναφέρεται, βασίστηκε κυρίως σε πέντε δογματικές θέσεις που βρίσκονται σε αντίθεση με τις δημοκρατικές αξίες, που διατυπώνονται σε κορυφαία νομικά κείμενα, όπως ο Αμερικανικός Νόμος Περί Πολιτικών Δικαιωμάτων του 1964 και οι οποίες είναι οι ακόλουθες:

(1) Η νήσος Κύπρος είναι ‘μια επέκταση’ της ‘μητέρας πατρίδας Τουρκίας’.

(2) Οι αρχές της ενσωμάτωσης, πλειοψηφικής δημοκρατίας και ενιαίας αυτοδιάθεσης πρέπει να φαλκιδευθούν.

(3) Μέσω του ‘δι-κοινοτισμού’ οι πολίτες του ιδίου κυρίαρχου κράτους πρέπει να διαιρεθούν σε δύο ξεχωριστές εθνο-θρησκευτικές ‘κοινότητες’ με καταβολές της διαίρεσης από τον καιρό της Οθωμανικής και Βρετανικής αυτοκρατορίας, όπου διαιρούσαν τους Κύπριους σε ‘Μουσουλμάνους΄ και ‘μη-Μουσουλμάνους’.

(4) Μέσω της ‘δι-ζωνικότητας΄, το έδαφος της νήσου Κύπρου πρέπει να τεμαχιστεί σε τέσσερα μέρη, δηλαδή δύο ‘Βρετανικές Κυρίαρχες Περιοχές Βάσεων’, συν δύο εθνο-θρησκευτικά διαχωρισμένες ‘ζώνες’ που να κυβερνούνται αντίστοιχα από ένα ‘Ελληνοκυπριακό συνιστών κράτος’ και από ένα ‘Τουρκοκυπριακό συνιστών κράτος’.

(5) Η ‘Δι-κοινοτική’ διαίρεση και ο ‘δι-ζωνικός’ διαχωρισμός, πρέπει να συμπληρώνονται από ένα διεστραμμένο είδος ‘ομοσπονδίας’, σχεδιασμένο να διευθετήσει τις παρατυπίες, να διευκολύνει τον μηχανισμό δημογραφικής αλλοίωσης και να διαιωνίσει διάφορες συνθήκες, οι οποίες παραχωρούν παράλογα δικαιώματα στην Τουρκία.

Εισηγήσεις-προτάσεις

Αν ο ‘δι-κοινοτισμός’ και η ‘δι-ζωνικότητα΄, συνεχίζει η επιστολή, περιληφθούν σε οποιαδήποτε ‘διευθέτηση’, αυτό θα επιβραβεύσει την επιθετικότητα και μπορεί ακόμα να δημιουργήσει ένα επικίνδυνο προηγούμενο εντός της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και του ευρύτερου δημοκρατικού κόσμου, μέρος του οποίου αποτελούν οι ΗΠΑ. Ένα τέτοιο προηγούμενο, μπορεί στη συνέχεια να τύχει εκμετάλλευσης από τον Πρόεδρο Ερντογάν και άλλους εχθρούς της δημοκρατίας, που ήδη ξεκίνησαν να αναμιγνύονται ή να φυτεύουν τον σπόρο της διαίρεσης σε διάφορα μέρη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, όπως η Αυστρία, το Βέλγιο, η Βουλγαρία, η Γερμανία, η Ελλάδα, η Ολλανδία και, ειρωνικά, το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο.

Εν όψει των πιο πάνω, οι υπογράφοντες ζητούν μεταξύ άλλων:

· Mια νέα στρατηγική υποστήριξης της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας

· Nα διασωθεί η Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία από το μαρτύριο της μετατροπής της σε μια φυλετικά διαιρεμένη ‘δι-κοινοτική, δι-ζωνική ομοσπονδία.

· Mια νέα δημοκρατική συνταγματική φιλοσοφία, με βάση την οποία κάθε πολίτης της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας, ανεξάρτητα από την εθνικότητα ή θρησκεία του, να προστατεύεται από το κράτος δικαίου, τις αρχές της ισότητας και τις απαγορεύσεις εναντίον έμμεσης ή άμεσης διάκρισης.

· Να ακυρωθούν οι Συνθήκες Συμμαχίας και Εγγυήσεων του 1960, να αποχωρήσουν όλα τα τουρκικά στρατεύματα και, βάσει κατάλληλης διαδικασίας, να επαναπροωθηθούν στην Τουρκία οι έποικοι, που βρίσκονται παράνομα στο έδαφος της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας.

· Να εκσυγχρονιστεί και να τροποποιηθεί η Συνθήκη Εγκαθίδρυσης.

· Να υπάρξει διαφάνεια και διαδικαστικά δίκαιο πρόγραμμα συνταγματικής και νομικής ανανέωσης, που να μετατρέπει την Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία σε ένα γνήσιο, ενιαίο, ενωμένο, ελεύθερο και δημοκρατικό κράτος.
